Who Can Apply
You cannot apply directly to the training centre for this course.
The training is open to all non-psychological specialist secondary care GMMH staff who are client facing, who have manager approval and can attend all 5 days of the training which are usually spread across 4 weeks.
Applicants must identify a supervisor within their team who is a psychological specialist (e.g. Clinical Psychologist, CBT therapist) who will be able to provide you with ongoing supervision on your return to your workplace to support the skills and knowledge gained from EPIC.
As this is a foundation course, we are unable to accept applications from anyone who has a psychology-based qualification.
Please note priority will be given to applicants who have not completed any of the components of this training already.
Training Component
The training component is in the form of 5, one day workshops which are comprised of presentations, videos, small group work discussions and practising of skills. The workshops will be spaced out over 4 weeks. We aim for workshops to be delivered face to face but may be delivered via MS teams should circumstances require this. The workshops will be delivered by GMMH psychological specialist staff, including clinical staff and recovery academy trainers.
How to Apply
This course is currently unavailable to external applicants. Prior to scheduled EPIC training dates, information will be circulated to GMMH services including an application form, which we ask to be completed in full and returned to the EPIC administrator.
