Memory Assessment Services

The Memory Assessment Service premotes the early identification of dementia, by encouraging people to attend a specialist assessment, with service users referred to the service by their GP following intial tests.

Additional support and management can be offered post diagnosis by various members of the multi disciplinary team. If dementia is diagnosed we provide treatment, care and support as needed following diagnosis, which includes a comprehensive range of evidence-based interventions alongside medication (if appropriate) for all forms of dementia.
