Free Educational Resources

Learners at a Recovery Academy CourseThe Trust’s Recovery Academy provides a wide range of free educational resources for people with mental health and/or substance misuse problems, their families, carers, as well as support services.

All of the resources (face-to-face courses and digital) focus on supporting people with their recovery, as well as promoting good mental health and wellbeing. The resources are useful if you are looking to increase your knowledge and understanding of mental health, improve your mental wellbeing, or simply want to learn something new.

The resources are co-written and co-delivered by experts by profession and experts by experience. This recognises, with equal importance, both professional expertise and lived experience, promotes the Recovery Academy’s philosophy of shared learning, and is one of the Recovery Academy’s core values.

Registering with the Recovery Academy two years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Not only have I gained a lot of knowledge and understanding around mental health from the many courses I have been on. It has also helped with my confidence, mental wellbeing and making connections with like-minded people.
