Local artist creates artwork in support of the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic

Manchester-based artist Dave Draws has created a ‘doodle map’ of Manchester’s NHS hospitals in support of the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic.
About the piece, he said:
"With everything that is going on at the minute with the coronavirus situation I wanted to do something to help. I wanted to do some kind of NHS specific drawing but I wasn't sure exactly what. In the end the idea of a map of NHS hospitals was an idea that I thought could work, I spoke to a few people and everybody seemed to think it was a good idea. I researched which hospitals would go onto the map and worked out locations etc. Drawing the map took around 3 days and I was really happy with how the piece came out, particularly the little splashes of colour to highlight NHS buildings. All profits from the print sales of this will go to NHS Charities Together, so hopefully it can help in some way."
