Level 4: Node-Link Mapping

The Level 4 Node-Link Mapping is a programme of learning that has been quality endorsed by Open Awards. Node Link Mapping (NLM) is an evidence open_award_logo based approach that can be applied in a wide range of health and social care settings. NLM is a recommended approach for substance misuse services. Maps can be used as visual representations of ideas and experiences to assist in structuring discussions, and have been showed to make them more meaningful and memorable. NLM can be used to help clients represent and resolve personal issues - for example, decision-making; goal-planning; identifying positive support networks and increasing personal effectiveness. This two-day training course is an introduction to the theory and practice of Mapping and offers an opportunity to practice using some of the commonly used Maps.
