7th December - #MHNRU Journal Club - Dr Una Foye
In December, Dr Una Foye will be joining us to discuss “Clinician Views on Best Practice Community Care for People with Complex Emotional Needs and how it can be Achieved: a Qualitative Study”. This article found that clinicians had similar views to service users with complex emotional needs about the need for clear long-term pathways encompassing proven treatment options. Stigma was identified in this study as a significant barrier to better care, and further staff training is needed to challenge this.
